Indochina consists of Laos, Vietnam, and Cambodia. To the west, it's bordered by Thailand, to the north, China, to the east, South China Sea, and to the south, the Pacific Ocean.
Ho Chi Minh
Ho Chi Minh was a Vietnamese Marxist-Leninist revolutionary leader who was prime minister (1945–1955) and president (1945–1969) of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam (North Vietnam). He was a key figure in the formation of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam in 1945, as well as the People's Army of Vietnam and the Vietcong during the Vietnam War until his death in 1969.
Battle of Dienbienphu
The Battle of Dienbienphu was the climactic confrontation of the First Indochina War between the French Union's French Far East Expeditionary Corps and Viet Minh communist-nationalist revolutionaries. The battle occurred between March and May 1954 and culminated in a comprehensive French defeat that influenced negotiations over the future of Indochina at Geneva.
Pol Pot
Khmer Rouge was the name given to the followers of the Communist Party of Kampuchea, who were the ruling party in Cambodia from 1975 to 1979, led by Pol Pot, Nuon Chea, Ieng Sary, Son Sen and Khieu Samphan.There main leader was Pol Pot. He was a Cambodian Maoist revolutionary, who led the Khmer Rouge from 1963 until his death in 1998. From 1976 to 1979, he served as the Prime Minister of Democratic Kampuchea. Pol Pot became leader of Cambodia on April 17, 1975.
Pol Pot forced country to be nothing but farming. He forced people out of the city. He destroyed autos, trucks, and all industrial things, and he killed over 2 million business people, industrialists, teachers and educated people were attacked
